Dilly, you are beautiful--but you should see your first born--Kassidy--now three,
and what she has accomplished! Certified Therapy dog [Pets & People Foundation facebook pix],
now passed test to commence Hospice work; this year received her Junior [3rd year] certificate
from Harvard Canine Cognition Lab and returns again for Senior; works at agility and is told by
everyone who meets her how gorgeous and sweet she is. Truly, what a love she is! Thanks Dilly--
I am eternally grateful! Patricia. Find Kassidy on my page, Patreicia

Which one is saddle bred? The rider or the horse? Both. I had never seen such a lean, long-legged horse before used for roping calves let alone 1,300 lb. cows. But this horse, even though skinny and frail looking, still had so much heart that she worked like a quarter horse. The rider? Easily one of the best all around cowgirls I have ever met and definitely bred for the saddle. It is in her blood. Leanna Whistler-Smith and Danice (aka: Doubletrees Molly D)
The Waiting Game It was branding day, but we were waiting on some vaccine to arrive. This pretty little thing was the toughest cow hand out there. She does it all and looks great while doing it!

This painting was exceedingly fun for me. I like that it is of a scene that is common in ranch life, but rarely if ever portrayed in a painting. I was on a gather with this ranch manager who suddenly jumped off his horse and grabbed a stick to go after a rattler.
This cowboy is one of my heroes, whom I admire greatly.
To laugh often and much;
To win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children;
To earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends;
To appreciate beauty;
To find the best in others;
To leave the world a bit better,
Whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition;
To know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived
This is to have succeeded.
